The Jeremiyah Love hype train may end up in Arizona by Thursday evening.
The Notre Dame running back has seen his betting odds to be taken No. 3 overall in the 2026 NFL Draft move drastically over the past week at sportsbooks and prediction markets.
Things moved even more aggressively after the latest report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter pegged Love’s range to be as high as No. 3, which is currently where the Cardinals are picking, and as low as the No. 7 pick, which belongs to the Commanders.
Schefter notes that the Cardinals are eyeing potential trades with teams looking to move up in the draft, but it could be a serious option for them if they keep the pick.
Love’s ascent to be the potential No. 3 pick has been steady over the past week at DraftKings Sportsbook.
Love’s odds to be the No. 3 pick were 10/1 last week on DraftKings, then moved to +600 by Saturday, +400 by Sunday, and are +225 as of Monday morning, making him the second choice behind Texas Tech linebackers David Bailey, who is the favorite at +125.
That movement matches what’s been happening at prediction market Kalshi as well.
Love’s chances to be the No. 3 pick on the platform were around 13 percent at 6:30 a.m. ET and have jumped to 28 percent since Schefter’s report Monday morning.
Love could end up being the highest drafted running back since the Giants took Saquon Barkley No. 2 overall in 2018. Love certainly has the talent to be as explosive as Barkley based on his college production.
Love compiled 2,497 yards and 40 touchdowns (35 rushing) in his final two seasons at Notre Dame and was the second runner-up for the Heisman Trophy in 2025 behind Diego Pavia and Fernando Mendoza.

“He is a unicorn,” his former head coach, Marcus Freeman, told Collin Cowherd earlier this month. “I think he could be an elite wide receiver, he could be an elite DB. He’s just gifted with a unique skill set.”
