When one way-too-old boxer pulled out, another was ready to step right in.
When 58-year-old heavyweight boxer Mike Tyson was forced to pull out of his July bout with boxing superstar Jake Paul because of an ulcer flare-up on a flight, the YouTuber called up 48-year-old Floyd Mayweather Jr.
Paul told The Post there were discussions of him fighting Mayweather on July 20, the previously scheduled date for Paul-Tyson, which eventually went off in November.
“He said he would fight me, but I would have to weigh like 160 pounds, which is physically impossible for me,” Paul told The Post while also adding that Mayweather “won’t do it.”
