While A.J. Brown’s future with the franchise remains in the air, Marquise “Hollywood” Brown is swooping into the Eagles’ wide receiver room.
Brown has agreed to a one-year deal with Philadelphia on Tuesday worth up to $6.5 million, multiple reports said Tuesday.
The 28-year-old former Chiefs wideout will join the duo of A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith for the time being.

However, A.J. Brown could part ways with Philadelphia via a trade at any point after June 1 when his dead salary-cap hit would significantly decrease.
Thus, Hollywood’s role within the Eagles could become much bigger as time goes on.
The move comes with a lack of depth behind the two stars.
Johnny Wilson had the potential to beat Jahan Dotson, who left in free agency, in the rotation during training camp last summer before he suffered a torn ACL. He will return in 2026 and the Eagles also have second-year Darius Cooper who has potential.
They needed a solid third receiver and enters the speedy veteran Brown.

Brown, a former Ravens first-round pick in 2019, spent three seasons in Baltimore where he had his first and only 1,000-plus yard season for six touchdowns with 91 receptions in 2021.
He then spent two years with the Cardinals followed by two seasons in Kansas City, in which he missed his chance for a Super Bowl ring at the hands of his new team in 2024.
Last year with the Chiefs, Brown caught 49 passes for 587 yards and five touchdowns across 16 games.
He was 46th out of 91 receivers in yards per route run last season — A.J. Brown and Smith were 19th and 20th, respectively.
