Ex-Dodgers pitcher Julio Urias has been charged with multiple crimes stepping from a domestic violence arrest last September, according to multiple reports on Tuesday.
Urias, who was accused of getting into a physical incident with his wife at an LAFC MLS game at BMO Field on Sept. 3 of last year, has been charged with five misdemeanors in Los Angeles.
According to TMZ, the two got into an argument after the pitcher took photos with female fans at the soccer game before things got physical, as Urias allegedly put his arms around her and slammed her into a fence.

He was released on $50,000 bail and placed on administrative leave by MLB days after the incident, ending his season.
TMZ first reported that the left-handed hurler has been charged with one count of spousal battery, two counts of domestic battery involving dating relationship, one count of false imprisonment and one count of assault.
He is next scheduled to appear in court in May.
In January, the Los Angeles Times reported that the LA County District Attorney’s office was handing over the case to the City Attorney’s office for “misdemeanor filing considerations” as it was not seeking felony charges in the matter.
A document filed at the time stated that “neither the victim’s injuries nor the defendant’s criminal history justify a felony filing.”

Urias, who became a free agent after the season, has not signed on with a new team and is still under investigation by MLB for the September incident.
In 2019, he was suspended 20 games under MLB’s domestic violence policy after an arrest in which he was accused of pushing a woman.
He was not charged in that case.
Urias made his big league debut at 19 years old and pitched eight seasons with the Dodgers, leading the league in ERA (2.16) in 2022.
